Knuxouge: Theif+Gaurdian part 8 (Final)

"Sam, you have to believe me. We didn't mean to embarrass you like that. It was completely accidental. Can you forgive us?" Rouge pleaded with her soft, emerald eyes.
"I do." Sam smiled. Shadow ripped Sam off to the side.
"You know damn well that's not the real reason she's here! We need to give the Master Emerald to Dr. Eggman, or you know what he'll do." Shadow growled.
"I know! But using her to get to Knuckles? That's not right. You know how badly Knuckles cares about her! He'll be heart broken if Scourge hurts her! Not to mention how broken we'll be!" Sam pleaded.
"I know…" Shadow looked down, remembering his old friend.
"That's why we need to protect her and not worry about Egghead!" Sam said.
"Yeah."
A loud crash rang through the room as Knuckles came bursting in, his eyes fierce with rage. He started punch and kick Scourge as hard as possible. Scourge yelped out in pain, trying to get away from the homicidal echidna.
"Knuckles!" Rouge yelled happily. Sam and Shadow were long gone by now, ready to go kick some serious Eggman ass!
After a long line of punches and kicks, Scourge was out cold. Knuckles ran over to the white bat and quickly untied her.
"Where's Shadow and Sam?!" He growled.
"They left. They only wanted me so they could get you. But they needed the Master Emerald for something with Eggman. The emerald is in the next room over." Rouge explained. Knuckles bashed through the wall and grabbed the Master Emerald. He then grabbed Rouge and headed out. Everything was now at peace.
*A few days later*
"Come on Knuxie! You look adorable!" Rouge cooed.
"No!" Knuckles yelled.
"Yeah, come on Knuxie, let see the adorable outfit Rouge put you in!" Sonic snickered. Knuckles walked out of the dressing room in blue jeans and a light pink shirt.
"I hate you all."
"Oh come on, Knux, only real men wear pink!" Sam tried to stifle her and Sean's laughs. Soon, everyone busted out in laughter.
"Yeah, haha, very funny…" Knuckles growled. Rouge giggled and kissed Knuckles' cheek. Knuckles turned as pink as his shirt.
"Awwww~! SOOOOOO CUTE!" Sean and Sam laughed. Knuckles and Rouge have been together ever since the incident with Scourge, but both are happy.
*A few hours later*
"I love you Knuckles, more than anything in the world." Rouge cooed as she snuggled close to Knuckles in his warm and comfy cabin.
"I love you too, Rouge." He place a small kiss on her forehead. She purred softly and drifted off to sleep in her strong, echidna's arms. And he drifted off with his beautiful, white lover in his arms.
